Hold that thought…ure seriously writing this…?

Friday, March 23rd, 2007

ive been hearing a lot of stuff about telling bloggers to be considerate and all…
well yeah.but how do you feel when told to be considerate in letting off your steam about some inconsiderate buggers…?

whatever la. but since topics has been about being inconsiderate, ive noticed
a news report on a  former politician’s death.very recent. What bugs me is that, TV3 (i dont care naming em, cuz dats wat they ve been doing the whole particular day) kept on showing on and on, the decease’s body being wheeled out. repeatedly when reporting on the by election…

come on people. Wats wrong with you?

then again, this is a country where people tend to notice the trivial of things and acknowledge lame unimportant stuff, and sidelining more important ones.

i still dont get it.I mean seriously. What are they trying to achieve by sending several kids to skydive on the North (or south) pole…?

waste more public funds more like it.next what?
much has been said about Malaysia(ns) doing stuff that has no meaning to it, apart from having a superlative in front of it. Biggest ketupat.Cheesiest cheescake anyone…? but i goes to show our competitiveness huh?
riiigghhtt…..

And the still, current uproar of scoring As in school. well i ask of the government this : keep your tabs on these "multi-A individuals"….
you might be searching for their whereabouts in the future….
breach of contract to serve the country, …well u know. stuff like that. DO something to stop the brain drain ok…? JPA are public funds, no matter how you see it. So please la eh. Id rather have my tax money given to a sure serve Malaysia punya budak, who just missed on a few A’s, and i believe all Malaysians agree with that.

On d blog issue nowadays, the Gov should not be afraid of wats being written, cuz if it aint true, why bother…? Myths as they like to call it, will die down.(or some1 decides it to die la, which is a diff story)
I’ve been reading a few of my friends’ blogs, and i have come to classify them into several styles. genres if you prefer calling it.

  1. Like mine, pure tak puas hati.complaining on shit and stuff.Opinionated or  purely out of daily takes on what s around.easy said, angry at the world.heheh!
  2. The " i ate a sour strawberry ice cream today. It was nice. Boo called. He said hi. I said Hi back.I love boo.X said i look fat in the blue top"…..goes on forever. daily diary. telling everyone that the writer has a fetish for socks and what not. keep it to yourself lar….no one wants to know whether yr dog prefer Pedigree pal or Alpo…
  3. The "taken from …." style. No ideas for what to write, but ideas on from where to cite. Pretty much a no brainer. Found some interesting stuff forwarde to ya, copy-paste-blog!now, got poetry included…taken from….eerr……
  4. the emo ones. Im the most miserable person in the world….! God hates me! I wanna kill a cat…! Dat jerk was no good all along….and it goes non-stop.
  5. Optimistic to the point of being annoying. Yes! It’s freakin annoying! this is no world for optimism(apart from the lottery), but a realistic world we live in!
  6. The "janji aku update blog". No more than 3 sentences (sometimes ten at max). " Today im happy. But i dunno why…why eh…?"

so in a nutshell, the gov wouldnt have much stuff to worry about dont they? unless some politicians decided to do a no.2 style blog which sounds like :
"Went to meet X.Got side money for granting em the tender.Normal citizens know nuts. Im a Dato’. I know more, i deserve more..Transparency? come on. met hot chick during "official" trip. Worth a shag.Saw a new candidate for 2nd wife "…

now dat would be another gol in the gincu huh…?

well watever you blog, its up to yr biz la i guess. it reflects back on you. Imagine its a personality test.wat genre you write, will give the reader an own interpretation of what the writer is like, more than wats being written.

cue : for this blog, purposely mis spelled words show that im

  • have terrible engerish.haha. or;
  • im a lazy bum who prefer doing the short cut way. well it aint nice.and it aint true, but generally it roughly reflects on the writer.

so get crazy.just get crazy.cuz i believe that im able to know people more by reading their blogs, than looking at their friendster page.well that’s just me.

Exams…exams…exams….? Cant get enuff of it huh…?

Monday, March 12th, 2007

today,13th March 2007. 1 day after SPM result day for form 5 kids in 2006.
well speaking of SPM…well i cant say i flew colorfully (fly w flying colors…?!) in it…
hehe.

rather i think i could have done better in it…but i wont change anything to it even if i had the chance.
well livin with an exam oriented skooling system like Malaysia in a way indirectly stalled my development (height has ntg to do with it, people! stick to the topic…!)…in life.glad i have always been the weird one doi

some result oriented people will indefinitely fail to see what the main objective schooling was supposed to be.

i read about a girl getting 19A’s for this round of SPM.dats wat de media said la. WOW. Kudos. but would i be biased if i doubt her ability to stand out in life later on? well ii wish her luck, and all the best. but what i want to focus is on is not how much these kids absorb. its how much they can relate wat they’ve learned into life.

next news to come out was that, 19A1s turn out to be 18As only. "only".
like getting 18As is a disgrace.

well u wanna know wat i think? I think SPM is getting too easy.nuff said. Too easy. cuz i dont see these kids getting any brighter. dumber more like it. SPM questions being churned year in year out. same questions. and with this sort of stuff, no wonder most of them grow up onto jaguh kampung.

come on. its been what…6 years since i took my SPM….and compare it then….technology, access, these kids nwdays are waay light years ahead. But the papers…? same standard!

so grading them according to the similar standard of roughly 9 years ago is dumb. No wonder you get these kids with 16, 17 or even 19 As, but head still empty. I sincerely hope im wrong…but im afraid im right on target here.

after that wat?

not enough channels for artistically oriented students in Malaysia. I guess it s got smtg to do with Asians’ mentality. : Study hard, get good job : make a lot of money…! dat means professional jobs are more preferred.so "alternate" thinkers, susah la mau carik makan….

Doktor..? Majistret…? Ape…? Ahli Muzik…? Siapa Kassim Selamat…?!!!!

I can relate. Im Asian.
I grew up being pressured to perform in class. I didnt.hehe. rebellious at the wrong places.haha.but ended alright i guess.luckily i had a flexible (albeit iron fisted at times) upbringing…

like i said in my previous postings, in Malaysia, we have this sort of "cycle news; where, every year, similar stories will pop up….

same recipe…

same what…

same why…

and also same how come…?

just only different who….

The word : scholarships, and awards….rich kids from waaay off wealthy families, with yes, good results, above average sometimes, will get the scholarships….go to UK, US, use tax payers money…enjoy, siap study, decided to live there (heyy…parents rich enugg to support them to start a new life abroad,) then deciding not to pay back to the government by serving the country….typical case…

then in 5, ten years, take up PR there, then the Gov forgot about them, public funds go to waste.

and the lesser fortunate ones…? parents normal je…struggling to make ends meet even, but bright kids….12As…some even better. but these are the ones overlooked for scholarship and assistance…

well thats the cycle. some dude will cry on TV,bcuz couldnt get PSD scholarship to do Meds, while in the background, all places taken up by anak Datuks, or families who are far more than capable of sending every kid oversea to party!

im not labelling rich kids as bad or what, but this is the normal scenario. Scholarships should be given not only based on results alone, but also family background! and success…? If dat kid gets tuition, livin in the city, access to everything, gets say…12As or watever, do you put them better than a kid from some ulu place, but gets one or two As less…?

i dont think so.

on a slightly diff, but sort of related story…

saw 300 last week. and in it, a line went "Spartans…the greatest warriors the world have ever seen….A Spartan…when he was born, even if he was sickly, or mis shapen, will be discarded…..thought the way of the warrior since they were little…" shit like that…

Put in Malaysian terms…wat u get?

"Malaysians….since standard 1…told to get number 1…and get your reward….thought to increase their As with every major exams….4 As….7 As…19 As…..Malaysians…the finest kiasu (after Singapore) the world have ever seen….!"

have u seen that new record…? longest kuih ketayap (was dat it was called? oh well)….Univ have ntg else to huh nwdays? cant blame some ppl for nt getting jobs then…

well i wont look favorably on a candidate if his resume states "Team Member for the Logistics Bureau for the "Longest Lemang" Project 2006"….
or head of operations - Biggest Ketupat 2005….!

hehehe.well wat do u think?
its like putting "Killed seven goats and three chickens" in a CV for a Spartan warrior wannabe/ applicant!

Well for those who took their results, good luck. Its just valid for three mnths wat..till u enter Univ or not important at all, if u enter certain colleges…(some really do see wat color of the dosh u have, instead to wat grades are in yr transcript!)

after that, life really starts.Welcome to the real world. and after yr graduation, yr scroll will also be valid for as long as ure jobless…

trust me.
been there, done that.

like Rudy of Hitz FM said it : SPM : Super Party Mode!
couldnt said any bttr!

Well for those who didnt get straight As…(like yours truly), heyy…life isnt over. Uni /Coll life awaits. And this part in life will be yr making. Grades matter, but wats more important, stuff dats un-grade-able. yr street smart.

-life is like a box of chocolates in a mamak shop….you’ll nv know whether ull be getting a Choki choki, coco jelly, Sneakers bar, or even an expired cadbury’s almont nut chocolate….

so enjoy the moment…and dont rule out the scenic route to success…(well if u wanna take the highway, also can)…sometimes, u might just meet some one worthy to to be given a hitch hike…

Danny Zuko : Coolest name on TV…?

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

i saw Grease on tv the other day.
had a good laugh. Marvel on what was deemed cool less than a few decades ago. What s cool nowadays?  i wonder. Hell. I dont know. I dont care. I’m a strict t-shirt and jeans guy, so kira buta style la easy to say.

so seeing John Travolta prancing around shaking hips that would even make Shakira green with envy …while singing "Grease Lighting…Go Grease Lightning…!" and  " Tell Me More…tell me more…" indeed shows that, in a few years, wannabe nigga-machas and Hong Kong wannabe Lee Homs out there will be passe’ , and to say it bluntly, look pretty darn ridiculous.

having a lethargic - feeling week.takdok power la. Eat more banana.have to eat more bananas….
being lethargic means that i am pretty much easier agitated by stuff around me, and i ‘m sure you’ll agree to the list of stuff that annoys the pants off me (u too!)

idiots, who seem to take years at the ATM machine. takbleh hafal number pin ka, or just deciding how much to withdraw the moment the "insert amount" screen appeared…. bodoh sial….

idiots who just decided to use either Touch ‘n’ go, smart tag or coins as they approach toll booths…. and keep their spare change in their wallets….and in 50ringgit notes….paying 50 cent toll using RM 10 notes even…? might as well pay for the next 10 cars behind you!

the recent quake in Indonesia was felt all the way till KL…
My workmates felt the shaking (we re on the 8th floor) …and this is from a 6.1 richter scale quake.

so wat if…it was a 9++ one? like the Tsunami causing one…?
well im not sure if i’d feel the movement (i didnt feel any la dat day)….but can our buildings tahan ? i tak berani cakap wei…

I read that the Def Department was planning of using a whole load of money to renew the rifles that they are using….From Styer to Colt Carbine (M-16 variation)…its the MA4 one i think…

hehe.like jilat balik your ludah huh? nicely cakap anti US la…boikot US products la….But Aint Colt a US company…? haha. Talk cock can la.Styer Assault Rifle was an Austrian brand i think…oh well…

instead of arming ourselves (it aint bad, national safety is priority!) …but aint it better used for national development or homing the homeless?

well. Malaysia…

just for kicks…..Footballogy.

Hell… 2007 moves kinda pretty quickly…it march already! Bleamin hell!
Get ready for so called good movies! We nearing May already! Yay!

predictions…predictions….

1. Hannah Tan, who changed her name to a more stylo "Hannah T" has only one more step to comply with the Britney Spears method of Pop Evolution.
From innocent girl- mature girl- Stylo girl- Vixen ("Hannah T" punye position now) - [bloody hell! her poster for her new album …begs the question : They got sell undies that small meh…?
the final step of the evolution :  Bald headed bimbo.

2. The uproar over pan-asian models.(read abt this ke-tak-setujuan in KLUE, by Brian Yap)….well…oh Ministry…define "Pan-Asian"…Aint that move racist?
you are segregating some quarters just because of their looks!
Tell me man, who will buy Brylcreem (example only lar!) products if you put the full fledged "Malaysianised-Average-Joe-looking as a model who looks like Azlee Senario"…?

Bet u dont have a Degree in Marketing huh…? neither do i , but i do use my brains…!
but then, this too will die down, and this topic will resurface again…say…next year….3 weeks after Labor Day….

________________________________________________________________________

a note about last week’s game (Liverpool Vs Man Utd) : life, like football, its not always the best man(or team) wins….its those who make use of their chances that will end up victorious. and also, luck factor counts in. u gotta admit.
so walk on, walk on …..!
Man.Utd fans, God’s a Red fan. so Man Utd’s win was to avoid Chelski from joining the halls of champions…u take la de Premier League….as for us Liverpool, Istanbul 2005 will repeat itself! whoahaha…(consoling talk la nih…)

When to say, no, even its good for ya! Like cakes (according to most girls la), somethings in life, no matter how much you want it, how good it tastes, u gotta pass it off, cuz no matter what, your principle in life comes first.

so like Liverpool, too much winning is bad for your health…whoahaha! man dats sad.lol.its other’s team’s turn, so jangan potong line lor….

no matter how much the title is tempting you….jz remember, patience has its reward…

and as for Man Utd, who claims that You’ll Never Walk Alone was originally their song, errmmm… how stupid do you guys sound when you taunt Liverpool fans to "walk alone", while in the background, your club seems to make a fuss proclaiming that the song (according to your sources la) was originally a Manure song….
bitter? i’m not. I pity these minority idiots.

oh well…
-no punches pulled…and none was a missed punch…Scholes punches like a girl.ard ard ard.

As Borats says : Hi 5!

i like comedy. i really do.
my fav show…? My our country. Its where the best and most bizarre humor are created.

some people claim we live in a one of a kind multi cultural society. Sounds kinda big headed dont you think? Thats directly discrediting other countries that have multi cultures in its society, where they not only have one name for their citizens, but all citizens are accorded the same equal treatment.
So before we pride ourselves in announcing of our "rakyat berbilang kaum hidup secara harmoni, adil dan saksama", lets scrape a classification in our registration forms people : Race.

i appalls me to hear our politicians demanding for co operation from the minority group  when they decided to shun any "perpaduan" effort. well done. they have done the only way you can show your dissatisfaction to the majority : stop supporting them.

its nearly 50 years since the independance of Malaya, and 44 years since the name Malaysia was mooted. Agreed, that 31s Aug is the date the Brits "lepas tangan" to majority of the states in Tanah Melayu, but a move to say Malaysia will be celebrating the 50th anniversary is a move that shows :

  • the Government cant really do proper math (dont know proper subtraction equation)
  • They (Gov) suck in History
  • They (Gov again!) are living in their own make believe world.
  • They (i let u guess) are directly discrediting Sabah & Sarawak’s entry that culminated the change of name to Malaysia! (not to forget Singapore also!)

And these are the same people who go around hollering about remembering the past, remember our struggle…remember the country’s history.

i started this blog edition by talking about comedies…well how does it fit in here…?

Comedies are made good by punch lines. where whats happening is illogical to the one that is/are supposed to be said or happen. Well look around us guys. and enjoy the laughter.

Ignorance is one thing. Stupidity is waaaaay different. Well at least we have good entertainment all de time eh…?

The recent uproar regarding the advertising of the fast food left me wondering….
Dont they have anything else better to do other than thinking of whats the next thing to ban?

"Apa Khabar Orang Kampung" was recently banned. I dont see the major cause for them to be alarmed or afraid that we would turn into communists supporters simply by watching it.Unless, they prefer the shut up, and see no evil school of thought.
then we end up as monkeys then….noooooooooo!

Look at the bright side (at least got one!) the ban on fast food advert (if they decided to include instant noodles as fast food too) will directly take at least one advert showing two idiots prancing on TV while eating Mamee Instant Noodles….Mawi and dat certain Aznil…. (amaran :Makan mi segera berlebihan boleh menyebabkan rambut gugur…! : Mawi!)

another nut idea was having some Youth Movement of a major coalition party component to go sky diving in the North (or was it south )pole…
for what i dont know. But some people just have pea brained ideas, and paid to waste our hard earned money on stuff that in the end brings no benefit what so ever, except to their appointed suppliers and *ehem* friends….cronies…haaiya.

i wonder what made them think of putting on the idea of getting a freakin Proton Saga to be parachuted onto the (south or north ?) pole last time…?
imagine if our firstly produced automobile/vehicle was a combine harvester…
hehe. will it get to do a parachute jump too…?

A minister bengang with certain quarters for posting Mat Rempit clips on the internet (Youtube etc), saying that the move is seen as challenging the police…

heyy…arent you guys who suggested we give these misfits bikes as rewards to them if they catch (practically themselves) haha…. snatch thieves….

What next? reward handbags and phones to snatch thieves who take part in road blocks to nab mat Rempits …?

oh well.the enemy of my enemy is my friend…
wait a minute…dat sounds weird….

And instead of improving the sex education in school to avoid u know wat la among you know who, they decided to set up a peeping squad…

Mat Skodeng, and start to be in denial when a "shocking" study result regarding the sexual activity of our girls…

hmmm…instead of denying and discrediting a study, why dont find the solution…?

well dats just me saying….

nonetheless, we live in the land of laughs, teh tarik, and a whole loadsa good crap around us…

cheers.

_punchse and kicks…none pulled here…
