well not lagging in infrastructural development la….i ment civic wise, and de quality of her people….

lets take a look…..

1.In de parliment, instead of talkin about how to improve de country’s economy or smthng like dat, they (de politicians) talk about  of all things- poligamy…!!! de 3T stuff!!-"Teringin Tapi Takut"…

2.We care more on sending helpin aids, monetary supplies, stuff like dat to neighbourin countries dat kena disaster…its okay to be a philantrophist country…but have u checked de poverty rate lately…? man people are sleepin on de streets! talk about "feedin de monkey in de jungle instead of your own child at home"….-a malay proverb-

3.Our goal…de longest lemang, biggest dodol, tallest cake, most popped baloons…stuff like dat ….creating meaningless records…!!! who cares if u have de biggest egg tart in de whole damn world…?

4.When we talk about space…and sendin our astronauts…whoa…instead of investing in space aeronautics or stuff like dat, they invested in research on how make roti canai and teh tarik in zero gravity…!!!!

5.de most influential male….no not Pak Lah,Not Mahathir….now its Mawi….From Mat Rempit to lelaki melayu terakhir….?man  dont need a degree to achieve dat huh…? shallow man…damn shallow.

6.a public uni decided to do a study on a prominent figure….no not Pak Lah and Mahathir….its Siti Nurhaliza…!!hav nothin else to do ah…?bebanyak tokoh, artis gak dipilih.

7.Most watched shows-AF and MI….and they take National Geographic off de air…(recently returned…thank God)

8.Censorship in almost everythin!!! i paid full orice for a 18+ rated movie in de cinema and still get censorship….? urrmmmmm Chinatown for DVD then….

well…well…i was at KLCC( de convention centre) today….tgk de Sony expo…cool gadgets man….

anyways, smthng struck me as i was in de LRT on de way to KLCC station….as usual, it s crammed…from KL Sentral. No seats were available, so i was among de standing ones….as de station reaches Pasar Seni Station, there were empty seats.a  full row actually.

Most of de ppl remained standing. Figured sme ppl mgt need it more than we do. It was also de row specially reserved for old people, disabled, and pregnant ladies etc…(there’s even a sticker above de seat). Then come this joker la. nampak kerusi open, direct duduk.

Even when tgthr w him when he entered de train frm Pasar Seni was a lady w 4 kids!Buat bodoh max i tell u!!!! and he was dumbfounded on "Why was de Seat Empty Earlier?"

in de end one guy who was already seated in de first place offered his to de lady w 4 kids……and de Joker…?

almost every guy within an arms reach in de crammed train was staring at him. simply gegar la…haha.doubt any intention to go physical, but cmon la…. "TidakKah kita prihatin" …? -as written on de sign above de seat….

wat race was de guy? he’s Chinese.now answer me….is this an isolated case or is it a stereotype case?  ponder…ponder about it my deaar Watson…..

whos on fire…?

so ended up fanning this joker all nite la…(ok la….30 minutes)….bt man he’s burnin….like a hot whipped potato…suggestions by few ws to put sme ice on the back of it, bt gz dat’ll cripple dat poor chap literally too, even w water, he’s already suffrin….i’ll leave the result of applyin ice to yr imagination…

Honestly….i hate to be frank but….to fullfill the criteria of being a true malaysian, u must’ve done or will definitely accomplish these

- receive a scratch and win gift card frm some kedai elektrik ….

- got charged extra 50cents for a RM 10 top card…(paid 10.50)

- guys walkin into a public toilet and to find out some cleaner lady is in it….(thinkin earlier that they strayed into the wrong loo)

- read Mastika….man dat stuff is full of crap….

- waited for the public bus for hours, only for it to arrive not one, but three of the same numbered bus to the same destination at once!!!!

- heard the term suicide bomber translated dully as pejuang berani mati….wat about our country’s soldiers, police, firemen who risk their life for us civillians…?

i think they’re the ones who lagi berani mati…cheers to them…

- got ticked off by some idiots who went  (with hushing voice, tryin to cover their mouth saying)"….ahhh…im in the cinema…yaa…The Matrix….ahh….ya…i call u later….ok…oh ..ya…bye…." and end up not silencing his phone after that either!!!!

- end up in a "touch and go" toll booth ,even tho ure rooting fr the "Tunai" lane…

- Counted how many times Karam Singh Walia raised up his hand during his environmental reports…

- bought a pirated cd….haaiiimeeehhh…? where got….. =p

Wot about….bein a “bangsa malaysia”….?

Saturday, October 1st, 2005

we’re 48 years old….dats wat they’re lauding on 31st August this year….

bangsa malaysia….dats wat the’re proud of being….but honestly..i hate to be frank but….how more superficial can dat statement get?puh leeze….

if so, why do we still have to live in a society where the political agenda is still based on racial divide? UMNO fr malays, MIC fr indians,MCA fr chinese,….

so where does the bangsa malaysia comes in? im of mixed blood origin…and im proud of my heritage… cme to think of it….what makes u a malaysian? or fr de fact, "bangsa malaysia" ? why do we must fill into a particular space stating "race" in forms then? \

is that a big matter to differenciate amongst us malaysians? does stating "Bumiputera Sarawak" makes me a lesser malaysian or "bangsa malaysia" by stating iban+kadazan+chinese+portuguese+bahraini in the space provided?

why does the letter "K" compulsory in my identity card….is stating my point of origin is that important? not that im ashamed of it….au contraaire…hell im proud bein a decendent of previous head hunters…=p….but isnt emphasizing on racial difference and whether im a  "peninsular or borneo bumi is" contradicting what they’re tryin to achieve in the first place?

"Irony" :-…stuff that Malaysia is "ehemmm" well known with…(apart frm makin the most biased news reports, philantropism (not to their own people, but people frm outside- talk abt givin milk to de monkey in de jungle…..),creating the largest, longest keropok lekor etc, and unpunctuality…..)

We are living toward a goal where racial intergration is the core of our country’s agenda in building a better Malaysia…..but race is still an issue….

heard of this latest issue where a society that comprises of newly converts who wish to obtain bumi status? thought provoking….

not because of the absurdity of the claim, but how trivial matters like this still come alight in 2005….hey..aren’t we equal?

Prior to Independence,

the british ruled based on racial stereotyping….chinese work at the lombong…indians tap rubber…malays become civil servants….they divide us simply be classifying us into different categories….now we’ve achieved independence, we still continue it…albeit not through job description, but still as effective, if not more severe than earlier expected…..

im sure these ramblings will fall onto deaf ears…if it ever fall into them in de first place, but hey……….at least i spoke.
